Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) is onto it again.

The right wing extremist party is running a Twitter campaign to pay homage to Tanveer Qadri, a cab driver in UK who killed an Ahmadi citizen Asad Shah over perceived blasphemy in Glasgow, Scotland on March 24, 2016.

On the fourth anniversary of the murder, Tehreek Labbaik affiliated Twitter users sent rich accolades to the self confessed killer, with graphics and messages that said Tanveer killed a blasphemer, who claimed to be a Prophet.

#WeSaluteGhaziTanveerQadri trended on Pakistani Twitter in the evening and gathered thousands of tweets and retweets.

Tanveer was called a source of inspiration. He himself was inspired by violent extremist ideologies of TLP chief Khadim Rizvi and another vigilante killer, Mumtaz Qadri and others.

The official media cell of TLP implied that one needs to shed blood to prove the purity of their faith.

More and more tributes and accolades were sent out.

The uniformity of messaging and graphics gave away the campaign as engineered and handiwork of fake bots affiliated with Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan.

Tanveer had driven from Bradford, English with the intent of confronting Asad Shah about his claim to be a prophet. After disagreement, he stabled the later repeatedly at his shop in Shawlands, Glasgow and killed him. Tanveer was sentenced to life imprisonment a minimum of 27 years by a High court in Glasgow.
